Soziale Innovation in Zeiten von Krisen: Ergebnisse einer explorativen Studie steirischer arbeitsmarktintegrativer Unternehmen im Kontext der Covid-19-Pandemie
Abstract
Work integration social enterprises (WISEs) are a central pillar of Austrian labor market policy support structures. In particular during periods of crisis, they are expected to react promptly and flexibly to the changing needs of their clientele, enhance the quality and scope of their services and methods, and advocate for the implementation of appropriate political frameworks. This illustrates that crises can be challenging, yet they can also open up opportunities for innovation. This paper is based on a multilevel explorative study with a multi-perspective approach. The objective was to determine the challenges associated with the Covid-19 crisis and to explore and reflect on opportunities for innovation.

Maria Anastasiadis
Maria Anastasiadis ist assoziierte Professorin im Arbeitsbereich Sozialpädagogik am Institut für Erziehungs- und Bildungswissenschaft der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. Ihre Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Soziale Organisationen und deren Beiträge zur Partizipation und Sozialen Innovation, sozialpolitische Wandlungsprozesse und deren Konsequenzen für die Soziale Arbeit, Soziale Arbeit und nachhaltige Entwicklung, partizipative Forschung.
Lisa-Maria Lembacher
Lisa-Maria Lembacher hat die Masterstudien Sozialpädagogik und Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung am Institut für Erziehungs- und Bildungswissenschaften an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz absolviert, sammelte Erfahrungen als studentische Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Bildungsforschung und PädagogInnenbildung und arbeitete in verschiedenen Forschungsprojekten mit. Sie ist selbst als Sozial- und Berufspädagogin in einem arbeitsmarktintegrativen Betrieb sowie in der Content- und Eventplanung für Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene tätig.
